NEW CHANCES FOR YOUTH (SMIS CODE 337140)
FPIMM Brasov organizes professional counseling services and free courses for young people between 16 and 29 years old in Brasov, to develop the skills necessary on the labor market and increase employment chances.
About the project
Funder: European Social Fund through the Education and Employment Programme (EoP) 2021 - 2027, Priority Axis P02 Developing the potential of young people on the labour market (Youth employment).
Implementation period: June 2025 - May 2028
Overall objective of the project: The project aims to improve young people's access to the labour market, through an inclusive and sustainable approach, in the economic sector CAEN 56 - Restaurants and other food service activities, in Brasov County. In this regard, 280 young people looking for a job or who want to improve their professional status will be supported, of which:
at least 115 will be young NEETs,
at least 140 will be women,
at least 45 will be young Roma,
and at least 2 will be young people with disabilities.
Eligible categories for the target group (check Recruitment methodology)
have reached the age of 16, but have not reached the age of 30;
are looking for a job, including NEETs (young people who are not working and not following an institutionalized form of education);
have their domicile or legal residence in Brasov County, in an urban or rural area.
Project offer for the target group:
1. Specialized employment services
Personalized professional information and counseling
Labor market mediation, adapted to the profile of each participant
2. Vocational training
Cook's assistant (authorized course according to GEO no. 129/2000, qualification level: 1, COR code: 941101, duration: 180 hours, 120 places available)
Waiter (waiter and sommelier) (authorized course according to GEO no. 129/2000, qualification level: 3, COR code: 513102 – waiter waiter, 51393 – sommelier, duration: 720 hours, 110 places available)
Transversal skills for the labor market (unauthorized course according to GEO no. 129/2000, recognized by employers, duration: 60 hours, 50 places available)
Additional support activities:
Development of green skills (green jobs, green economy, sustainable development);
Actions for acquiring skills on diversity, inclusion and non-discrimination.
*Eligibility restrictions: persons who are employees of the Applicant or the Project Partner cannot be part of the target group.
